If your case involves distribution of marital assets and liabilities, Mr. Ladner and his staff will assist in identifying the assets and liabilities and whether the assets and liabilities are non-marital or marital. Mr. Ladner and his staff will assist in determining the appropriate value(s) to be assigned to each. Our office works with outside appraisers who can be retained to evaluate real property (both commercial and residential), vehicles, boats, jewelry, coins, guns, etc. and prepare a comprehensive report to submit to the court in support of your case.

If your case involves alimony, Mr. Ladner and his staff are able to prepare the requisite pleadings along with documents to support or defend your position. We work with various accountants who can be retained to advise the court on the respective parties’ need for alimony and the ability by the other party to pay.

In all cases, we take an approach that is both compassionate and effective. We understand that issues of family and marital conflict can be sensitive and emotionally draining. For this reason, we strive to address your legal needs in a manner that avoids the adversarial drama of a courtroom. We have found that ninety-five percent of family law issues can be resolved through negotiated settlements or mediation when handled by a qualified family and marital law attorney.
